No work no pay; stranded, living alone

Such is the plight of this gentleman (Karl Vanetto) during the ECQ and this GCQ but thankfully, it was heard by some people and referred him to us. 

Finally this support from the donors of Honorable Councilor Phillian Weygan Allan delivered it for pick up at her office but I was not able to inform him hence I delivered it near his place on my way to the Department of Agriculture. 

The gesture of our donors not just fed the stomach but most especially the soul of lonely people almost losing hope amidst this pandemic. 

Tour Guides first hit by Pandemic

Tour Guides were hit first when the ECQ was declared. Hearing our plea, the Honorable Councilor responded by reserving RF packs to fellow tour guides. 

Here Mr. Mario Rosete also received the pack of another fellow tour guide, both who did not qualify to the SAP programs due to reason of living alone by the DSWD and the relief packs by the barangays. 

Hon Councilor Weygan Allan has searched and took recommendations of people who were displaced.

Repacking Activity

In about an hour, 300kilos rice + 3 boxes of canned goods, was packed ready to go. 

Fine Purified Drinking Water and Pansit were added to the RF Packs.

Apine Marketing - Pick up of relief goods of 300 kilos of rice and 300 packs of beverages with candies,  to be distributed from house to house. 

Not only was repacking done at the premises, but also APine Marketing lent us manpower to assist us in doing so.

Night Roving by the Baguio City Police Office

During the Routine roving of the Baguio City Police Office, at about 9PM, the PB gave a summary of incidents and good news in his barangay. 

With the PB are the SK Chair and a volunteer of the barangay. 

In the backround are the SK or Loakan Proper youth working DOUBLE TIME on the summary report of the DSWD Forms 200 as reference for food relief packs and the SAP of the national govt.

          Before April 17-19, 2020 a group of friends from all around Baguio contributed and responded to our appeal for a bayanihan and thru Ms. Loiuse Valerie, they were able to provide a 3 day meal for ten (10) families in Loakan Proper, Baguio City (other RF packs distributed in different parts of Baguio). 

      They still continue to provide for those who are in need and we are working together on the papers to do so.

          We are very thankful for the love of a talented tailor from Purok Pidawan, Ms. Juliet Esporo. 

           It was communicated thru the volunteers communications online communications center by volunteer Ms. Corckie Fadlen, and was picked up by the team near the he area Ms. Maribel Desot.

Volunteers Distribute Home Quarantine Pass

        Ms. Emilie Quitan, a volunteer started distributing and asking thru the barangays' Purok Group Chats for any "missed out" ka-barangayan who were not yet given an HQP. 

      She can be reached thru her mobile numbers for her to facilitate the pass personally. 

The household in Purok ----, received their HQP.

        To fast track distribution, the volunteers do their "commitment" in between personal life and work life. The rewards of volunteerism though is also priceless.
